Katherine supports Parlour and the equitable representation of women in practice. She strongly believes in building a collegiate and collaborative design community across all sectors of design and construction, is passionate about giving back to the profession and mentoring and supporting young graduates into the profession

What is one thing you would change/create to make the world a better place for women?

I would ask people to step into the shoes of others, to understand a different perspective, to be able to view from all angles rather than just their singular viewpoint. I believe as a designer we have the unique ability to understand many different perspectives and create a world that is equitable and empowering for all.
